Regulatory issues of microfinance are the frontier discussion among all related stakeholders all over the world. The government of Bangladesh has established Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) in 2006 under an Act. This Authority is the licensing, monitoring and supervising Authority of microfinance activities of all non-government organizations (NGO-MFIs) in Bangladesh. The main objective of this conference is to share experiences globally and to bring some important regulatory issues into discussion for further progress.
